Glocally Alligned

'Glocal'- The creation of products or services intended for the global market, but customized to suit the local culture.

The name of this space was inspired by a rather utopian upbringing in the five college area of Western Massachusetts. A place of wonder and wealth in foods, tranquil wilderness, intellectuals, and ethnic backgrounds. I have pretty much lived the happy-valley life; I was born to parents who did graduate level work at two of the local five colleges; I attended the large state university; and my sister went to the most elite private college. My group of friends growing up are as much a melting pot as any corner - or city/hub - of this nation. With city ties and experiences living on both coasts of North America, Chicago, rural Wisconsin, Los Angeles, Cairo, Egypt, and currently our nation's capitol I have had my fair share of lived experience to extrapolate.

As most people in their low to mid twenties I yearned for the big city life growing up, as did my entire group of friends. There was a perceived concentration of interesting things in big cities, as young adults we thirsted for our own big city experience. Yet we always mused upon the sanctity of our five college home and bemoaned the blasé attitude of cities. *******************

Musings from this space will cover my life and time through audio, visual, and written words. Here I hope to capture my worldview as it is currently exists. I won't edit, won't type bull, but rather plan to express my own personality with the various mediums available. I hope ya'll will plug in via RSS or ATOM in your brower and enjoy my words.
